Frequently asked questions
Can you write for my blog?
Honoured you asked as I love to write. I mainly write about the careers, millennials and personal development. Feel free to contact me via the Home page or email me at email@example.com, if you think we can work together!
I am thinking of pursuing a career as a Management Consultant, can you give me some advice?
I am biased but I believe Management Consulting is great! I have written a lot about my career on LinkedIn and on my blog [see My Blog tab]. Read those first and then I am happy to answer any further questions.
I would love for you to speak at my event. How can I best contact you?
Thanks for thinking of me! I usually speak about personal finance, personal development, diversity and inclusion and my career to date. I also speak on/moderate panels and host awards shows. More information on the 'Events' Page. If this sounds like your event, feel free to reach out to me via the Home Page or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am about to start work, can you give me some advice about how best to prepare?
Congratulations on your job! I would encourage you to monitor industry/company news so you can have interesting coversations with your colleagues when you start, meet people at the firm if you can beforehand and brush up on useful technical skills such as Excel and PowerPoint.
What advice do you have for me on personal branding?
It really depends on what stage you are at but my main piece of advice is to be consistent - deliver an authentic message consistently. If you are truly being yourself you will attract the right kind of audience and it won't feel forced or uncomfortable.
You have achieved so much! How do you manage it all?
Thank you for your kind words. Overall I am one of those people that thrives on doing things I enjoy and I am passionate about. Time manegement and organisation techniques are so key for me as well as being organised and asking for help when I need it.
